Creating a ServiceNow Online User

The Amazon Kendra ServiceNow connector allows you to index your public knowledge articles and public service catalog items. In order to access your content, this connector requires a user with the “admin” role.

For this section you will need a ServiceNow online instance.

  1. Login into your ServiceNow instance and under User Administration, click on Users.

  1. On the users list, click on the userID of the user you will use for the connector.

  1. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and under the Roles tab, verify that your user has the admin role.

  1. If you don’t have that role attached to your user, click on the Edit… button and add it.
